Discover the difference a tight-knit team with a focus on quality (not quantity) can make.
After years of success, we decided to leave a major franchise, certain that there was a more authentic and better way to do real estate. We’d grown tired of the old-school approach: racking up as many listings as possible, promoting quick sales as the key success metric, and being reactive rather than proactive property managers. So, we took a deep breath, joined hands, and started off on our own path. And (would you believe it?) others followed…
She is honest and transparent with a genuine enthusiasm and passion for her profession. She is an all-round good person and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend her and would choose her for our future properties without hesitation.
Ever noticed how some agents talk only about themselves? That’s because they’re essentially competing with colleagues for listings. We do things differently, because you get the best results when we’re all pitching in, rather than pretending one person can really give you 24/7 attention without a support crew.
We do things by the book and follow industry best-practice to the letter. Relying on the latest advice and resources from the REIQ and Queensland Law Society, we ensure our behaviour as real estate professionals reflects the highest standards. This means adopting practices like only showing sellers formal offers, not non-binding expressions of interest.
Putting the real back into real estate means ditching the double speak. We’re always honest with ourselves and our clients, even if it means having uncomfortable (but necessary) conversations about things like unrealistic asking prices, or the wisdom of displaying Great Aunt Gertrude’s figurine collection at open homes.
The golden rule reigns. That’s why we put in overtime to fetch you a few thousand more; why we always keep fresh linens and a leaf blower in our car boot. While we’re for sellers and landlords first, we consider the buyers’ and tenants’ feelings as much as possible. It’s not just right, it’s also good for business.
Whatever you do on the daily, you’ll do it better with a smile on your face! Selling a home or managing an investment is serious business, but there’s always room for having a laugh, getting creative, and walking on the brighter side of the street (or terrace, or avenue, or road…).
You might be surprised to learn that in the big-name agencies, the realtors give away up to half their sales commissions to head office. While that’s great for their directors, it doesn’t work so well for you. It breeds a culture where individual agents are rewarded for playing the numbers game. They get good at getting business (listing your property), but not so great at doing business (properly marketing and selling your property).
As an independent real estate agency, Team Loyle frees up each member to achieve their full potential in service of your interests (without having to worry about where the next cheque comes from). We reinvest our profits into our team and in-house capabilities, always eager to upskill our staff and improve our processes. It’s all part of our mission to perfect the process of property sales and management.
Hailing from Yeppoon, she credits her small-town upbringing for her sense of community and next-level work ethic. After moving to the big smoke in her 20s, Kathleen found real estate almost by chance, and quickly fell in love with the acts of service this industry enables.
Learning the ropes in a big brand agency before striking out on her own, she’s spent the last 15 years perfecting her craft of marketing, negotiation and mentorship, while staying true to her core values of compassion and collaboration. As a working mum gal and now an advisor to the REIQ, life’s busier than ever, but she still loves selling houses (and her Loyle fans love her for it).
Fun fact: Kathleen has an extra vertebra – you might say she really has the backbone for the job!
Upon first meeting Stephen people are stuck by his charming Irish accent and smiling eyes. Then you’ll notice his infectious humour and genuine warmth for everyone he meets. These qualities evidently weren’t lost on Kathleen, who Stephen’s proud to call his partner in work and life, and mother to their adorable daughter Isabelle. Coming from a background in civil construction, Stephen’s skill with his hands and project management experience brings huge value to our property management services.
Together with Kathleen and the rest of Team Loyle, Stephen loves working to make a positive difference in the life of property owners and the people who call their properties home.
Fun fact: Stephen is an avid cyclist, even though he used to swear he’d never wear lycra.
Born in Western Australia’s Swan Valley wine district, Megan’s very much of the customer service vintage (and yes, she’s getting better with age). Since making her move into real estate in 2017, she’s put her excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to good use as Team Loyle’s wearer of many hats. Whether she’s taking care of the books, doing admin, dealing with trusts, preparing contracts, or lending an attentive ear to someone looking to share, Megan has a knack for bringing out the best in those around her without drawing a spotlight to herself (don’t worry, we let her know what a star she is).
Fun fact: Megan loves books, travel, cooking, and live music, but she’s happiest of all at the ocean.
Sunshine Coast native, avid sketcher, dog lover – Hayley is many things, and you can add budding sales agent to the list. Starting out her career as a commercial interior designer working with major Australian architectural firms, since switching into real estate she’s brought in her bag an exceptional eye for detail and gift for business negotiations. Expect to see her smiling face at open homes and auctions, gently guiding buyers towards their best offers. Hayley’s got a bright future and the sunny outlook to match it – we’re sure you’ll love working with her as much as we do.
Fun fact: Hayley’s a huge fan of camping and hiking, and loves taking her dogs along on adventures.
David brings a wealth of knowledge to our growing Property Management division. Working closely with Stephen and Tamara, he heads up the management of several properties in the Northern and Western corridors of Brisbane, specialising in the Hills district. David is a doting father, lover of the outdoors and has been known to make a mean cup of tea for the ladies of the Loyle office.
Fun Fact: David lived a previous life as an engineer servicing private super yachts sailing the French Riviera.
Trudy’s called Brisbane’s West home for the past 20 years, having raised a family and run a successful local business. Combining her unparalleled local knowledge and connection to community with an outstanding work ethic, Trudy’s taken to property sales like a duck to Enoggera Reservoir. Buyers and sellers alike instantly warm to her friendly, empathetic nature and attentive service.
Fun fact: Trudy is a qualified naturopath with a wealth of knowledge about how diet and natural supplements can promote good health.
Tamara has worked in Real Estate since 2018, nothing makes her happier than when someone is successfully approved for their first rental. Tamara loves that the Loyle team are very family focused and real, it’s totally up her ally – with a strong focus on small town, family values herself. If Tamara could have a super power for a day it would be to teleport just to get a hug from her dad who lives over 1,100km away!
Fun fact: Tamara grew up in Bowen, North Queensland. She has fond memories of her dad letting her get up in the tractors to “help” him work.
Nat is the professional, warm, and engaging estate agent you’ve never had, and having
spent the majority of her life in the north-west suburbs you know she is
familiar with all the locals jaunts! Having previously resided in the
picturesque Samford Valley, she is excited to return to Ashgrove and its
surroundings, where she previously worked as a hairstylist in the 90s (those
were some of the best years right?) and more recently, dedicated herself as a
“soccer mum” while raising her two daughters. Yep, she’s not a
regular mum. She’s a cool mum.
Fun Fact: Nat has a deep appreciation for nature, finds joy in life’s
simple pleasures, and treasures moments spent with loved ones, including her
beloved four-legged companion. And here’s a heads up – she might bring a bit of competitive spirit to the mix!
We’d love to hear from you! Whether you’re ready to dive into the market, or just testing the waters, we’ll help things go swimmingly.
Considering selling your place, looking to buy your forever home, or need help managing an investment? We do the works.
Putting the real back in Brisbane real estate.
